I am a true “ally” in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania media world, as I provide assistance to advertisers as well as to other local advertising agencies. With complete anonymity, I am a resource to agencies who are temporarily overwhelmed or in need of a fresh perspective. I work on a project basis as well as on an ongoing basis.

I have taken my strong background at KDKA Radio in special events and as a writer/producer (“Pittsburgh Some Place Special” campaign and the Children’s Hospital fundraising broadcasts from downtown department store windows) and applied these learnings and experiences to companies that need organization, production, media planning, and communications. Add in my award-winning skills as a writer/producer and manager of new business development projects at KDKA-TV. Here are some clients and people with whom I have worked: Alcoa, Westinghouse, US Steel, UPMC and community projects for “Making It in America” and “Making a Difference in Our Hometown,” with Donald Cardinal Wuerl (Archbishop of Washington DC), Pittsburgh Mayors Richard Caliguiri, Sophie Masloff, and Tom Murphy, and Pennsylvania Governors Bob Casey and Tom Ridge.

Through my agency, I have worked on numerous local, regional and national accounts including Sears and Sunoco. Additionally, I have maintained an unwavering commitment to the small agency approach as being the creative developer and media planner and buyer for my accounts. I am the first and only person my clients talk to!

I have taken my communication abilities and volunteered for 16 years as program consultant to Bishop Donald Wuerl’s “The Teaching of Christ” award-winning program…taping the show every Saturday through its years of production; directing the television ministry at my church from 1999 to 2015 to televise the Noon Mass seven days a week throughout Western Pennsylvania; working with the University of Pittsburgh alumni council since graduating from Pitt on communications and alumni relations. I am the recipient of many Telly Awards and Communicator Awards for my production abilities; awards from the University of Pittsburgh for volunteerism; a special “Manifesting the Kingdom” Award from the Diocese of Pittsburgh for communications throughout the Diocese (awarded by Bishop now Cardinal Wuerl); and recipient of an Outstanding Achievement in Broadcasting Award from the Media Association of Pittsburgh for volunteerism in the local media, buying and advertising community. I give my time as a pastoral consultant to parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, I mentor young media professionals, and I am a natural leader when working with volunteers in the communications field.

I am devoted to the industry and beyond, working tirelessly to make my national and local advertising clients successful, the volunteers with whom I work even better, and recognizing the abilities of others in the industry. I am the epitome of “ally” in agency/allied as I easily and quietly do the work of an agency and I am a friend to the local media world.
